Bringing Creativity to Life in New Forms
Share
It’s been a while since my last post, but I’ve been deeply immersed in creating and exploring new ways to expand my reach. So, here it goes:
Evolution is inevitable. It’s a journey of constant exploration, pushing boundaries, and finding new ways to share creativity with the world. For the longest time, I focused solely on my paintings, always looking for ways to send my designs to people, but I never truly considered how they could take on a life of their own beyond the canvas - until now.
It was actually some of my friends who pushed me to think bigger, to do something with the designs I had created. And that’s how the idea of wearable art came to be. Looking back, I wonder why I didn’t think of it sooner! The process of bringing my art to life in clothing has been both exciting and overwhelming. From customizing products and assessing quality materials to dealing with all the technicalities of production, every step has been a learning experience. But the best part? Seeing my designs become something tangible, something people can wear and connect with on a personal level.
At times, I do feel like my attention is scattered in many directions: building my own brand, managing the details, and making sure everything aligns with my creative vision. But despite the challenges, I truly enjoy this journey. It enriches me, pushes me to grow, and teaches me valuable lessons about both art and business.
That said, my core artistic practice remains a priority. Experimenting, perfecting my craft, and diving deeper into different mediums - whether it’s watercolors or something entirely new - are all part of my evolution. I’m currently preparing for several commissions, a group exhibition, and I’m beyond excited to share that I’ve just confirmed my next solo exhibition for October! More details will come as the events get closer, but for now, I’m fully immersed in the creative process.
Balancing everything isn’t easy. Every day, I carve out extra time for both my artistic practice and this new adventure in wearable art. It’s demanding, as I need to joggle between my full time job, my family and all other daily duties, but it fuels me in ways I never expected. Art has always been about expression, connection, and storytelling, and now, it’s expanding into something even more tangible.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me - I can’t wait to share more soon!
Until next time, stay inspired!
