A Season of Focused Creativity
Share
Dear friends, art lovers, and supporters!
Lately, I’ve been pouring so much more energy into my watercolor practice - embracing a new style, gathering materials, experimenting, and really honing my craft. This deep focus has been both grounding and creatively energizing, and I’m loving where it’s taking me.
I’m also really excited to announce that I’ll be participating in the annual group exhibition curated by the Helsinki Art Association this August! It’s always an honor to exhibit alongside other incredible artists - if you’re in Helsinki, I’d love for you to stop by and see the work in person.
Another exciting update: I have a solo exhibition coming up this October at Roasberg Café, right in the heart of Helsinki! It's such a vibrant and welcoming space, and I can’t wait to fill it with watercolor pieces that reflect this new chapter in my journey.
And here’s something extra special… I’ll be painting two electricity cabinets in Helsinki this summer! 🌆🎨 This public art project is sponsored by Helen Oy, the city’s electricity company, and I’m currently gathering the materials to get started. I love the idea of contributing artwork that lives out in the open - something that becomes part of the urban landscape and brightens someone’s day as they pass by.
As for my apparel collection - there are still two product ideas I’m really excited to develop. But for now, my priority is clear: make more art and make it well!
If you like what I do, I’d be so grateful if you helped spread the word. And don’t forget to follow me on Instagram and Facebook to stay in the loop with all the behind-the-scenes, progress shots, and announcements!
Wishing you all a joyful, creative, and well-earned summer break — whether you’re traveling, painting, lounging, or just enjoying the sunshine.
With heart and watercolor splashes,
Ana Grigorescu
